Our amazing weekend with Eric & Stephanie

Buddy and I went to visit Eric and Stephanie's new home in Ridgefield.  Their house is incredibly beautiful and we had an amazing time hanging out with them.  It was such a joy helping Stephanie put stuff up on the walls, even though I created a few extra holes!  We cleaned up the old house and broke in the new big screen TV with Beattles Rock Band.  Hopefully one day we will live closer to them and enjoy more time together.

Eric's football team, the Skyview Storm, won their game against the Federal Way Eagles, 56-14, a blowout!!  This was the first round of playoffs and we hope that they will continue to win the next two games and end up in either the Tri-cities or Spokane the weekend after Thanksgiving.  After the victory in either Spokane or the Tri-cities, we are praying the Storm will be in Tacoma for the State Championship! :)  Go Storm!

Halloween

Dezi, Ally, Buddy and I relived our childhood when we decided to carve pumpkins.  We could not make it through the evening without a trash talking and a little friendly competition.  So, we decided to post the pictures on facebook and let our friends tell us who had the best pumpkin.  Dezi's mummy barely won and Buddy's monster was close behind.  Ally and I barely received one vote, and my does not really count because I told Amber which one was mine.  We are all winners though!

Here is Jesi on Halloween night.  Every time she heard the doorbell ring, she would run to the door, wagging her tail in excitement.  I had to hold her collar when I finally opened the door for the trick-or-treaters because she wanted to play with the little kiddos.  We got a mere 22 trick-or-treaters (yes, I tallied!)  Even though we were left with an entire bowl of candy and were only able to see the neighborhood kids, we were able to witness a slaughtering of the USC Trojans but the ferocious Ducks!  GO DUCKS!!

Fall is a brewin'!

Fall in our new home has been wonderful.  We finished the backyard late summer, which has been great for Jesi and her wet paws.  Buddy and I are both working, and Jesi is growing more and more each day.  The fall are changing and Buddy and I are thankful we are not having to rake the leaves every day, like last year.  T-minus 5 days until our first Halloween!! :)  Our house has been decorated in  an assortment of fall leaves, pumpkins, cobwebs, scarecrows, and plenty of pumpkin spice candles for a week or two now!  Just today, we put the final touches on our home with orange and black exterior lights, while our very, very scary carved pumpkins are ready to be put on the front porch.  Cannot wait!     Jesi, is super excited as well, as you can tell above!  HAPPY HALLOWEEN :)
